Joey Hudson of The Morning Answer and Fat Daddy’s BBQ teamed up to raise over $3000 for the Salvation Army last Friday.
Joey Hudson hosted his live radio show at Greenwood’s Fat Daddy’s BBQ on Friday morning. This 3-hour show, coupled with Fat Daddy’s Southern breakfast, was a fundraising effort for the Salvation Army. A crowd of listeners enjoyed a homestyle breakfast and asked questions live on the air. Instead of paying for breakfast, they were asked to donate to the Salvation Army. Fat Daddy’s and Rep. John McCravy sponsored the breakfast. Together, Hudson, McCravy, and Fat Daddy’s raised over $3000 for the Salvation Army.
Several public servants spoke on the show. Sheriff Dennis Kelly spoke about public safety issues. Solicitor David Stumbo spoke about the need to support local law enforcement. Officer Matt Emery and McCravy spoke about Dylan’s Law. The full show is available at 945theanswer.com.
